Bernie Mac died today, and that makes me sad. I became a huge fan of Bernie Mac over the last few years, after watching the Bernie Mac Show. It was hilarious watching a guy bringing up three kids when he had no idea how to do it. So sad to see a man die in the prime of his life.
UPDATE: Now Isaac Hayes too? WTF? Been a bad weekend for the black entertainers…I hope South Park does a fitting sendoff…

Another week, another Kyle Busch win. If you are still out there thinking that Kyle and the #18 team is having a fluke season, you might need to check yourself into the clinic. This kid is on fire. When you can win on short tracks, road courses, 1.5 mile cookie cutters, and superspeedways, you might just be the best in NASCAR. A bus passenger in Canada today beheaded, yes, I said BEHEADED, another passenger that was sitting next to him. I dunno really what else there is to say about that except to reiterate WTF is wrong with people? How can one person be so sick and twisted to do this? I’m guessing we are going to hear more about this person’s personal issues in the next few days. Whatever the issues are, I hope that this person gets to spend the rest of his life behind bars. I almost wish this happened in Texas, so we could just zap this dude…
Luckily, no one else was hurt, due to the cool-headedness (no pun intended) of other passengers on the bus and a trucker who stopped at the scene.

I’ll admit it, I used to hate Randy Moss. There is something about narcissistic pro athletes that really bugs me. The sense of self entitlement, the smugness, the ego, it all drives me completely nuts. In the past, Randy Moss was the definition of the classic pro sports athlete.

I’ll admit it, I’m still a little in shock from the race from Indy this Sunday…if you can call that 400 mile parade a race, that is. I debated even posting anything this week, I was so miffed at that debacle. I decided that like all good bloggers, I had the responsibility to join the millions of detractors and badmouth NASCAR in a public forum…ahh, this is what I love about blogging.

My sister Natalie and my bro-in-law Andy just had their second baby girl on Saturday, Mikayla. While neither Lori nor I were there to enjoy the fun (for everyone but Natalie…), we did get to share in the excitement over the phone with the fam. Mom sent me some pics, which I assembled into the slideshow below.
Leighanne was a bit apprehensive at first, but came around in the end, and is very excited to be a big sister. Let me tell you Leighanne, being the first-born is the coolest! Hope you have fun with her!

I just came downstairs and saw the cat on the second step, arm slung over the top step, like he was chillin out, waitin for me to serve him up a beer. Of course, I had to take a picture.
We have the weirdest animals, I swear.
